Part of the problem with something like what I'm describing is that the borders of the movement/subgenre are blurry and the barrier to entry in both budget and quality is inherently pretty low. I'd need to be selective. Either way, it'd be a hell of a "week" for sure.

Much as I enjoy watching Ms. Dakota Johnson - you can tell the young lady has Star Quality when one can say that without being able to say the same about many of her films - trying to watch a film like this for 100 minutes would probably leave me howling for the remote control.

Begging for the fast forward button IN A CINEMA, even.

What can I say, not a Sean Penn man or a ‘mumblecore’ fan: sooner or later I like Dramatic Incident in my films.

Locke 2: Now There Are Two (or, Collateral's First Scene: The Very Extended Cut).

"I someday want to do a deep dive on the late ’00s mumblecore movement like Hunter at Kinemalogue has done for ‘70s disaster flicks"

Oh man. If there were c. a hundred 70s disaster flicks (which has gotta be a conservative estimate, right?), I think I'd have chickened out of it.
