Also, there’s more than one member of the Band, so there’s plenty of room to explore their respective personal dramas - even if we DON’T start discussing international tours (Allowing us to see how different countries cope or fail to cope with their local demon problems in the absence of THE Demon Hunter tradition of this setting).

I’m not actually registered on Letterboxd (Only so many websites I can post on regularly without spending more time typing than reading); also, you will probably be relieved to know that I’m not the sort of fan who INSISTS that you play catch-up (Since ‘Different strokes for different folks’ are words of wisdom to live by).

Though if you do go diving into the Super-films then I will be very happy to discuss them with you. (-:

I think I read that they're eyeing sequels! Given its massive popularity, I would be more surprised if we see nothing of this IP again than if we see multiple sequels and/or a spinoff TV series or something. I confess I'd be a little skeptical; I hope they have good story ideas and not just more of the same, but there's certainly a lot of places you could go mixing and matching "demon slaying" and "touring band"

Haha, I see you follow me on Letterboxd? Not sure if I follow you back and just haven't connected a username that associates with this comment.

Yes, Superman is a bit of a gap for me I ought to fill, but good to know I'd have a fan cheering me on if I did.

Also, since you haven’t posted a SUPERMAN 2025 review as yet, this seems as appropriate a place as any to stare in blank-eyed bewilderment and whisper “ZERO Superman movies? Zero DCEU is one thing, but ZERO Superman movies?!?” in the slightly shocked tones of a man who realises he may actually have seen all the Live Action Superman films released since he was old enough to buy tickets to the cinema.

I’m not a fanatic, I’m just a fan!

Watched this on a whim - also completely cold to the ‘K Pop’ phenomenon currently on a word tour - and liked it a great deal (These ladies are true heirs of the great Buffy Summers and have some snappy tunes to boot).

I’m extremely pleased to know that your kids took to this film, because it definitely deserves to be somebody’s growing-up movie in fond memory, but will probably hold off on a truly final opinion until we see if it produces any sequels (To generate sequels is not a clear measure of greatness, but more films mean more data and a clearer sense of the world, the characters and their creative team*).

*I was equally reluctant to anoint Mr Tom Holland as a Great Spider-Man (He’s really very good, though Mr Andrew Garfield’s lankier, mouthier incarnation is my Favourite) until one saw him in more than one film.
