I love both Puss in Boots movies as well, which you will see in my coming reviews!

My delight at being allowed to drop the former to focus exclusively on the latter was considerable (I cannot attribute this solely to Señor Banderas, I also blame the entire cast & crew of THE MASK OF ZORRO*).

*Somewhat to my embarrassment, I actually skipped out on an afterschool class to get there earlier: to my shame, the teacher was so panicked she called the police.

I really, really do owe that lady an apologist wirh multiple decades of hindsight (Somewhat to my consternation, with hindsight there is one humorous element to this, given Puss’ translation from Perrault to Banderas – it was a French class).
